1. Agreement

By accessing or using CapSync ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use CapSync on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

CapSync provides AI-assisted caption generation, transcription, and translation tools for video and audio content through our mobile applications, web application, and related services. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use CapSync. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may delete your account at any time as described on our Delete Account page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use or process
• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the Service
• Interfere with other users' access or misuse CapSync infrastructure
• Use automated systems to access the Service in ways that exceed reasonable use or violate rate limits

6. User Content & License

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant CapSync a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the Service.

Caption accuracy may vary. You are responsible for reviewing generated captions and translations before publishing or distributing them.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features may be offered free of charge. Optional paid plans, in-app purchases, or subscriptions may be available through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other payment providers.

Purchases made through an app store are subject to that store's payment and refund policies. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your store account settings.

Prices and plan details may change. We will communicate material changes as required by applicable rules.

8. Intellectual Property

CapSync software, branding, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws. See our Copyright page for additional details. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in CapSync itself.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that captions or translations will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every use case.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CapSync and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using CapSync and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
